DGS Names Three New Partners
Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer Allen, Tess Hand-Bender, and Sterling LeBoeuf will become partners of the firm on January 1, 2020.

Jennifer Allen specializes in complex commercial cases, insurance, and class action defense. She serves on the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association, the Public Affairs Council for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and the Executive Committee for the Colorado Pledge to Diversity. She is a member of the 2019 Colorado General Counsel Mentor Program, which connects lawyers with Denver-area in-house counsel. Ms. Allen received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She is admitted to practice in Colorado, Virginia, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota, as well as before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, Tenth, and District of Columbia Circuits.
Tess Hand-Bender focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, white collar defense, internal investigations, and trial. She has represented clients from a range of industries at all stages of litigation and confidential arbitration, from initiation of proceedings through trial and appeal. She has tried three matters over the past two years, including a jury trial, bench trial, and an arbitration. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, has served as chair of the Colorado Lawyers Committee’s Young Lawyers Division, and completed the Colorado Bar Association’s COBALT leadership program. Ms. Hand-Bender received her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law and her B.A. from Stanford University. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Hand-Bender clerked for Judge Philip A. Brimmer of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and Judge Neil M. Gorsuch of the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals (now an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court). She is admitted to practice in Colorado, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
Sterling LeBoeuf specializes in labor and employment law. He counsels clients on the full range of employment issues and litigates cases involving non-competition agreements, trade secret misappropriation, wage and hour laws, and discrimination and harassment. Mr. LeBoeuf also handles a variety of other business disputes. He is a member of the Mile High United Way Catalyst Society, a group of business leaders focused on philanthropic leadership. Before joining DGS, Mr. LeBoeuf served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lewis T. Babcock of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from Stanford University. Mr. LeBoeuf is admitted to practice in Colorado, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Tenth and Federal Circuits.
