IADC Daywork Drilling Contracts Seminar
A Review of the Risk Allocation Provisions
In early 2014, the International Association of Drilling Contractors issued a new version of its widely used form of daywork drilling contract. However, drilling activity dropped off dramatically shortly thereafter due to the collapse of oil prices. With improved prices, drilling activity has increased. In light of this increased activity, attorney Gene Lang of Davis Graham & Stubbs will present a one-hour program addressing the risk allocation provisions in the “new” version of the daywork drilling contract, particularly those provisions that were modified.
