Jim Henderson, Sam Seiberling, and Taylor Smith Promoted to DGS Partnership
Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Jim Henderson, Sam Seiberling, and Taylor Smith will become partners of the firm on January 1, 2021.

Jim Henderson focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He has represented a diverse range of clients, from family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies, in matters ranging from real estate disputes to product liability issues, contract and warranty disputes, and employment matters. Mr. Henderson also has broad experience in oil and gas litigation matters and environmental issues. Outside the courtroom, Mr. Henderson was selected for the 2021 class of the Leadership Denver program, and he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Family Resource Center Association and the Associate Board for the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver. Mr. Henderson received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, his M.A. from Yale University, and his B.A. from Life Pacific College. During law school, Mr. Henderson was awarded a Public Interest Law Group Fellowship to work with a human rights agency in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and he interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and for Judge Wiley Daniel of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. He is admitted to practice law in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Colorado and Montana, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Sam Seiberling focuses his practice on acquisition transactions, public and private placements of debt and equity securities, securities law disclosure and compliance, corporate governance, and entity formation. He is a member of the Colorado Resource Council and participated in the Spring 2018 Impact Denver leadership program through the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Seiberling received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.A. from Dartmouth College. During law school, he was an editor for the Denver Law Review. Additionally, he worked as a summer associate at DGS and as a law clerk at a mid-sized Denver litigation firm. He interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and for then Judge William Hood of the 2nd Judicial District. Mr. Seiberling is admitted to practice law in Colorado.
Taylor Smith focuses his practice on the representation of borrowers and lenders in debt finance transactions. He recently joined the Board of Trustees of the Arrupe Jesuit High School Corporate Work Study Program and previously served on the Young Professionals Council of Denver Kids, Inc. He also participated in the 2018 Leadership 20 class, a leadership development program for emerging leaders within ACG Denver’s professional business community. Prior to joining DGS, he practiced for three years in the corporate department of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York. Mr. Smith received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from the University of Virginia. During law school, he completed internships with the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Smith is admitted to practice law in Colorado and New York.
