Michael Golz is associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. His practice has an emphasis on environmental law and litigation.
Prior to joining DGS, Mr. Golz served as a postgraduate legal intern at Stanford Law School’s Environmental Law Clinic. He worked for the Clinic during law school and served as co-director of the school’s Environmental Law Pro Bono Project. Mr. Golz is also a former summer associate in the Environmental Group at DGS. In these positions, Mr. Golz gained experience with the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and Federal Power Act, as well as NEPA, CERCLA, and water rights matters.
In 2020, Mr. Golz received his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his M.S. from Stanford’s School of Earth, Energy, and Environmental Sciences, with a concentration in freshwater resources. He also holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics–Economics from Brown University.
