Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Adam L. Hirsch has joined the firm as a partner in the Finance & Acquisitions Department. His practice will continue to have an emphasis on all aspects of bankruptcy, business restructuring, and related transactions.
“We are excited to welcome Adam to the firm,” said DGS Co-Managing Partner Kristin Lentz. “Adam is an exceptional attorney whose bankruptcy and commercial creditor rights expertise makes him an excellent addition to the DGS partnership.”
Mr. Hirsch has an extensive record of advising secured and unsecured lenders, DIP lenders, Chapter 11 plan sponsors, acquirers of assets in Section 363 asset sales, landlords and tenants, equipment lessors and lessees, intellectual property licensors and licensees, and providers of various goods and services. He also represents clients in transactional matters involving financially distressed parties and debtors reorganizing under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
“We are pleased Adam is joining our team,” said DGS partner Chris Richardson. “His experience with sophisticated restructurings from both the creditor and debtor side will enable us to further expand the capabilities that we can offer to clients, especially at a time when businesses are navigating unprecedented economic challenges.”
Prior to starting at DGS, Mr. Hirsch was a partner in the Denver office of Kutak Rock LLP and, before that, worked for a large New York firm for a number of years, where he represented clients in a range of bankruptcy and finance-related matters during the 2008 financial crisis and subsequent economic recession.
Mr. Hirsch holds a J.D. from Tulane University Law School and a B.A. from Northwestern University. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and New York, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the District Courts for the District of Colorado, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.
