DGS Expands Trial and Natural Resources Departments with the Addition of Three New Lawyers

DENVER – MARCH 14, 2014 – Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP has added three new associates across two of its core departments. David Holman has joined the firm’s Trial Department and Josh Neely and Greg Nibert, Jr. have joined the Natural Resources Department.

David Holman is a litigator who represents a variety of clients at the pre-trial, trial and appellate levels. His experience in commercial and regulatory matters includes natural resources litigation, civil fraud and RICO, federal preemption issues, white collar defense, mass tort litigation, and individual criminal matters. Mr. Holman’s work has ranged from executing effective expert discovery strategies to drafting successful appellate briefs. Prior to joining DGS, Mr. Holman worked for a large international firm in Washington, D.C. and clerked for Judge Paul J. Kelly of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He graduated summa cum laude from Providence College and also holds an M.A. from the University of Chicago. Mr. Holman earned his J.D. from the College of William & Mary. He is admitted to practice in Washington D.C. and Virginia.

Josh Neely’s practice focuses on transactional and regulatory matters in the oil and gas industry, including the preparation of title opinions covering fee, state and federal lands. Prior to joining DGS, Mr. Neely worked for a firm specializing in matters related to the oil and gas industry, where his experience included the preparation of title opinions, performing due diligence for asset acquisitions and divestitures, as well as state and federal regulatory issues. Mr. Neely also has prior experience working as a landman with a Denver-based energy land services company, working extensively in North Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. He graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi and earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School.

Greg Nibert’s practice is primarily focused on permitting and regulatory counseling in the fields of energy and oil and gas law, representing clients before the Colorado and Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commissions, and the preparation of title opinions covering fee, state, and federal lands. Prior to joining DGS, he practiced with a Denver-based energy firm and served as a summer clerk for the Honorable Bobby R. Baldock, Judge for the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Nibert earned a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of New Mexico and his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law.
