DENVER - March 18, 2014 - Leading Denver real estate attorneys J. Christopher Kinsman and Adam P. Chenell have joined the Real Estate Group of Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Both new attorneys come from Bryan Cave in Denver and will be joined by paralegal Melanie Cassidy. Mr. Kinsman has joined the firm as a partner and Mr. Chenell as of counsel.

Mr. Kinsman focuses his practice on real estate development, construction, affordable housing, and mortgage lending law. His practice encompasses all aspects of acquiring, financing, entitling, developing, leasing, operating, and selling residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects in the Rocky Mountain region. He represents large national and regional, as well as local entrepreneurial, developers and builders of mixed-use, office, and multi-family projects. Mr. Kinsman is a recognized expert in the creative formation and strategic operation, lease-up and sell out of town home, multi-family, time-share and condominium, master planned and mixed-use communities on behalf of builders, developers, converters and governments. His experience is broad and deep in assisting developers in minimizing risks associated with the construction, sale and operation of owner association communities. He also has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting complex construction, design and design-build contracts, as well as with commercial leasing transactions.
Mr. Chenell has worked alongside Mr. Kinsman for a number of years and together they have built a strong reputation in the Denver real estate community. His practice focuses on general real estate development, including common interest communities, affordable housing, development and construction, and real estate acquisition and sales. His practice also includes the development of condos and mixed, master-planned communities. Mr. Chenell's clients range from small local developers to national developers. He has represented clients in the areas of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development, general land use, and leasing matters. Mr. Chenell is knowledgeable in Fannie Mae and FHA requirements related to project compliance. He has helped affordable housing clients understand Fannie Mae and FHA regulations, including automatic termination, remedy limits, income limits, and resale prices.
