DENVER – JUNE 19, 2014 – Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP has added two new associates across two of its core departments. Chelsea Huffman and Jake Whitted joined the firm’s Natural Resources and Finance & Acquisitions Departments, respectively.
Chelsea Huffman’s practice focuses on environmental law and litigation. Her experience includes counseling clients in a variety of oil and gas, mining, environmental, and water law matters. She has assisted clients with permitting processes, Mineral Leasing Act requirements, and other environmental regulatory issues, such as issues arising under the Clean Water Act, California Environmental Quality Act, and the California Endangered Species Act. Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Huffman was an associate at a large West Coast law firm. She graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University and earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Jake Whitted’s practice concentrates on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, development, construction, private and public financing, joint ventures, leasing, restructuring, and workouts. His transactional practice also includes corporate organization and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Before joining DGS, Mr. Whitted was an associate at a regional law firm in Denver. He graduated cum laude from Middlebury College and earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
