DENVER – December 3, 2014 – Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP partner Greg Danielson has been appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee effective December 1, 2014. The Committee, which provides leadership for the firm's financial and strategic management, is made up of eight members and led by the firm’s managing partner and executive director. Mr. Danielson’s appointment comes after DGS partner Connie Rogers stepped down from the position to lead the firm’s Public Lands Group.
“With 50 percent of land in the Western U.S. owned by the government, legal issues surrounding public lands are a significant challenge to many of our clients when it comes to developing natural resources,” said Ms. Rogers.
Mr. Danielson has over 30 years of experience representing oil and gas companies, including extensive experience in the purchase and sale of oil and gas properties, and various forms of exploration and marketing agreements.
In addition to Mr. Danielson’s appointment, the partnership has re-elected Chris Richardson to serve as the firm’s managing partner for another two-year term. Mr. Richardson has been the firm’s chief executive and managing partner since 2002, and has served DGS clients for more than 30 years.
“I am pleased to welcome Greg to the Executive Committee and am confident that he will bring a thoughtful perspective to the management and direction of the firm,” said Mr. Richardson. “I am also honored to be serving another term as managing partner. We have a very talented group of people at DGS and I am very fortunate to be able to continue serving in this leadership role.”
