DGS Names Two New Partners

David Holman and Erin Simmons will become partners of Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP effective January 1, 2018. Mr. Holman is a member of the firm’s Trial Department and Ms. Simmons is a member of the firm’s Finance & Acquisitions Department.

David Holman

Mr. Holman represents clients in oil and gas litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, and products liability litigation. By crafting fact and expert strategies, he positions complex cases for successful resolution through favorable settlement, dispositive motions, or trial or arbitration. Mr. Holman has extensive trial and discovery experience, including examinations of key fact and expert witnesses and oral advocacy. Mr. Holman received his B.A. from Providence College and his M.A. from the University of Chicago. He graduated with his J.D. from the College of William & Mary. Mr. Holman is admitted to practice in Colorado, Montana, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Colorado and the District of North Dakota, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fourth, Tenth, and Federal Circuits. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, and the William E. Doyle Inn of Court. Mr. Holman serves on the Advisory Building Committee of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Littleton. He is also a board member of the Denver Urban Debate League.

Erin Simmons

Ms. Simmons represents banks, financial institutions, businesses, and private equity sponsors in complex commercial lending transactions. Her practice includes secured and unsecured loans; single lender, syndicate and “club” transactions; asset-based lending; reserve-based lending; acquisition financing; leveraged buyout financing; and project financing. Ms. Simmons has worked on transactions across a broad range of industries, including oil and gas, mining, energy, manufacturing, equipment leasing, health care, logistics, construction, communications, transportation and agriculture. She graduated with her B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. Ms. Simmons is admitted to practice in Colorado and New York. She was part of the Association for Corporate Growth’s Denver Leadership 20 class of 2016. Ms. Simmons currently serves on the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Committee, is a member of both the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.
