DENVER - FEBRUARY 4, 2015 - Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP partner Jordan Lipp has authored the first book in Colorado on product liability law. The book, titled "Product Liability Law & Procedure in Colorado," is available for pre-order through the publisher, Colorado Bar Association CLE at cobarcle.org, and will be available in mid-February. The 400-page book covers all unique facets of Colorado's product liability law and procedure in depth, and also addresses related claims, damages, and procedures.
"Lawsuits claiming injuries as a result of products that are allegedly defective involve some of the most complex legal and technical issues that arise in tort law," said Mr. Lipp. "Having practiced in this high stakes area of litigation for many years, I've always wished there was a book devoted to product liability law in Colorado. I decided to write this book to fill the gap in secondary sources on product liability law, and I hope it can serve as a resource to companies and practitioners."
Mr. Lipp focuses his practice at DGS on the defense of product liability actions, recreation and ski industry matters, and complex commercial litigation cases. He is also an adjunct law professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He has received numerous recognitions for his work, and has enjoyed wide-ranging success, both in the courtroom and through motion practice. Mr. Lipp is a member of the Product Liability Group at DGS, which is one of the leading product liability practices in the Rocky Mountain region.
