Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s Trial Department has added two new associates: Katie Brown and Mike Richardson. Their experience and potential will further strengthen the firm’s capabilities when assisting clients with litigation matters.
Katie Brown is admitted in Colorado. Her practice focuses on employment litigation and counseling. Before joining DGS, Ms. Brown was a legal fellow in the Employment & Labor Law Section of the Denver City Attorney’s Office, where she represented the City of Denver and its agencies in a variety of employment law claims, constitutional claims, and administrative appeals of disciplinary actions. Ms. Brown holds a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and a B.S. from Texas Christian University. During law school, she received Outstanding Student Lawyer recognition for her work as a student attorney at DU’s Advanced Civil Litigation Clinic.
Mike Richardson is also admitted in Colorado. His practice will continue to have an emphasis on litigation pertaining to complex financial restructurings and bankruptcy matters. Mr. Richardson previously worked at another law firm in Denver and, prior to that, clerked for the Honorable Christopher C. Zenisek, district court judge for the 1st Judicial District, Jefferson County, Colorado. During law school, Mr. Richardson served as a law clerk for the Honorable Howard R. Tallman of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado and the Honorable Kristen L. Mix of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Mr. Richardson holds a J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and a B.A. from Colorado College. While earning his law degree, he assumed the role of production editor for the Colorado Natural Resources, Energy & Environmental Law Review.
