DGS Names Two New Partners
DENVER - DECEMBER 8, 2015 - Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP has elected two new partners. Mark Champoux and Sam Niebrugge will become partners of the firm effective January 1, 2016. Mr. Champoux has practiced in the firm's Trial Department since 2012 and Mr. Niebrugge is a member of the Natural Resources Department, joining DGS in 2008.

Mark Champoux
Mr. Champoux helps clients resolve complex business disputes and litigates cases on their behalf in courts and arbitration forums throughout the country. His commercial litigation practice includes disputes involving natural resources, oil and gas, and environmental liabilities. He also has substantial experience in a broad range of other litigation subjects, including contracts, business torts, real estate, securities fraud, shareholder actions, civil RICO, products liability, and special districts. Mr. Champoux received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. from Brigham Young University, and he served as a law clerk to The Honorable Neil M. Gorsuch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Sam Niebrugge
Mr. Niebrugge focuses primarily on transactional matters for the oil and gas and mining industries. In addition to his work with oil and gas and mining producers at DGS, he worked in-house for a large independent oil and gas producer located in Denver. His practice involves the drafting and negotiating of development, exploration, joint operating, farmout, master service, and purchase and sale agreements as well as various other agreements in the oil and gas and mining industries. He also has extensive experience preparing all forms of title opinions covering fee, state, and federal lands. Mr. Niebrugge received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.S.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Michigan.
