The privacy law landscape is constantly evolving. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was a game changer and was soon followed by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as well as other updates to state law. A federal privacy law may also be on the horizon. In a context of widespread legal change, how can in-house legal counsel and other teams best focus their compliance efforts?
Join DGS for a panel discussion on the current hot topics relating to the handling of personal information, both of consumers and employees. Topics will include updates to Colorado’s privacy, security, and breach notification requirements; operationalizing compliance with the CCPA; proposed state and federal legislation; and the GDPR—one year later. The panel will identify trends and offer valuable insights for operationalizing compliance. The program will conclude with a Q&A session.
