Ms. Carlson holds a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. While in law school, she served as editor in chief of the University of Denver Water Law Review and, in addition to working for various litigation firms in the Denver metro area, clerked for Justice Allison H. Eid during her tenure on the Colorado Supreme Court. In 2018, Ms. Carlson and her partner won the American Bar Association’s national championship in Representations in Mediation. She was also awarded the DU Law 2018 Outstanding Leadership Award and the 2018 Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution Award.
Ms. Carlson values her involvement in the legal community. She coaches the DU Law ABA Representations in Mediation Team and advanced to nationals once again in 2019. Her leadership roles extend to the Colorado Bar Association, where she serves on the board of governors.
DGS looks forward to continuing to grow the litigation capabilities that the firm can propose to existing and prospective clients.
