Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Kate Sanford has joined the Natural Resources Department as an associate. She is currently admitted to practice law in Colorado.
At DGS, Ms. Sanford’s practice will focus primarily on environmental litigation. She previously clerked for Justice Richard L. Gabriel of the Colorado Supreme Court and also worked as a litigation clerk for a boutique natural resources firm and the Animal Legal Defense Fund. While completing her clerkships, she gained valuable experience with the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, and the Endangered Species Act.
Ms. Sanford holds a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Denver. During law school, she was editor in chief of the Denver Law Review (Volume 94).
DGS looks forward to continuing to grow the environmental litigation capabilities that the firm can propose to existing and prospective clients.
